Stephen C. Quintyne, Chief Executive Officer

Stephen Quintyne is an experienced healthcare executive with over 20 years of experience in a variety of healthcare management settings. Stephen received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Marketing from the University of Florida, and continued his education with a Master of Business Administration from the University of Miami.

In 2000 Stephen began his healthcare career in pharmaceutical sales. Stephen’s hospital career began in Business Development in 2009. He quickly moved to administration in 2011 as a COO, and CEO in 2012. As CEO Stephen had the opportunity to lead his hospital to both operational and clinical excellence, growing volume and quality simultaneously.

In his previous CEO role, Stephen improved access to much needed healthcare services for behavioral health patients. He led initiatives with the goal of improving patient satisfaction, making it a priority. In 2018 Stephen was recognized with the Chairman’s Council Award, recognizing individuals who inspire and build exceptional teams that are dedicated to advancing their facilities by delivering strong financial performance, the highest level of patient satisfaction, and improved patient outcomes.

During his tenure as CEO Stephen sat on the Board of Directors for the Public Education Foundation of Marion County, the Ocala/Marion County Chamber & Economic Partnership, Hospice, United Way Vision Council, and NAMI. He is currently a member of Rotary International. Stephen has been a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives since 2016 and became a Fellow in 2020.

Stephen is married to his wife of 15 years, and has three children. He is an avid golfer, cyclist, and loves to travel with his family.
