Our adult programs provide treatment for individuals over the age of 18 who are experiencing mental illness and emotional issues that are impacting their ability to function in day-to-day situations. Our goal is to help relieve symptoms and improve the patient’s quality of life. Our intensive inpatient program is designed to provide treatment to adults with severe and/or persistent mental illnesses, such as schizophrenia and bipolar disorder.
The acute program for adults is a specialized acute level of care designed to meet the needs of adults age 18 and over experiencing stressful life situations resulting in onset symptoms like severe depression and anxiety. We also have a partial hospitalization program for patients who don’t require 24-hour care, but need more intensive treatment than traditional outpatient programs offer. All programs also help patients with co-occurring substance abuse issues.
A multidisciplinary treatment team, patients, their families and referring health professionals work together to create a treatment plan customized for each individual’s needs. We introduce a range of techniques designed to help patients more effectively cope with life stressors to help increase personal resiliency and, ultimately, a stronger family system.
