Programs & Services at Coral Shores Behavioral Health

Behavioral Health Outpatient Services for Adults

Coral Shores partners with Branches Outpatient services to guide and support patients who may be living with anxiety, mood disorders and addiction. We offer structured daytime programming for people diagnosed with mental health conditions, including:

    • Panic disorders
    • Aggressive or impulsive behaviors
    • Bipolar disorder
    • Co-occurring disorders
    • Severe depression
    • Post-traumatic stress disorder
    • Self-harm and suicidal thoughts

Partial hospitalization program (PHP)

Partial hospitalization is considered a more intensive level of care for the treatment of  co-occurring disorders, depression and stress and co-occurring disorders. PHP involves full-day therapeutic sessions and enables the patient to return home at night to maintain family relationships. PHP is often used as a step-down from inpatient treatment. Core components of PHP may include group therapy, medication monitoring and anger management.

Intensive outpatient program (IOP)

Intensive outpatient services are used to treat moderate-to-severe levels of  anxiety and mood disorders, eating disorders and other dependencies. IOP does not require residential treatment at the facility, and patients may continue with their daily lives while attending flexible 3-hour therapy sessions. Core components of outpatient programming may include family counseling, problem solving and motivational interviewing.

At Coral Shores and Branches outpatient services, recovery involves a combination of services including one-on-one care, wellness programming and group therapy.  One of the most valuable aspects of outpatient treatment is helping patients gain a level of acceptance and take guided actions toward their future with mindfulness and openness.
